His special areas of interests include child and adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Asperger’s Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorders. Dr. Hayes has found that evaluations of children are best conducted in a 90 minute session. 90 minute  sessions allow for parents to fully describe  their child's strengths and areas of concern and allows for review your child's developmental history and a comprehensive review of the problems that bring them in for evaluation.
Dr. Hayes conducts adult psychiatric evaluations in a 1 hour session. After the initial evaluation you may then be offered the choice of individual therapy, family therapy and /or medication management. Therapy sessions with or without medication management are conducted in 50 minute sessions. Medication management is conduct in a 20-30 minute sessions. I am also happy to offer 50 minute sessions for combined therapy and medication management.
