Jordan Dalzell, Ph.D.

Dr. Jordan Dalzell earned her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University’s Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. Dr. Dalzell’s broad training across multiple settings (behavioral health/primary settings, community mental health clinics, school-based settings, emergency shelters, and a sexual assault response team for several hospitals) has provided her with substantial generalist clinical psychology skills in working with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Dalzell’s conceptual framework is primarily cognitive behavioral, with careful consideration of personalized, evidence-based approaches to meet client needs. Dr. Dalzell recognizes that CBT interventions need to be developmentally appropriate and engaging, with an emphasis on experiential learning.

Dr. Dalzell’s strong clinical interest in working with children and adolescents stems from her APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente’s Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in San Jose, where she provided evidence-based treatments for clinical issues related to pediatric psychology. Dr. Dalzell has a strong clinical background with adult populations and a focal element of her training has been early trauma interventions for recent trauma survivors in a specialty clinic setting. At her pre-doctoral APA accredited internship, at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (the largest federally-qualified health center in the state of Hawaii), Dr. Dalzell completed a yearlong specialized training in the Women’s Health Clinic.

Dr. Dalzell is committed to promoting the psychological well-being of her clients and utilizes a holistic treatment approach to address the unique needs, strengths, and challenges of each individual.
