Allison Myles, D.O.

Adult Psychiatry

Dr. Allison Myles completed her general psychiatry training at Temple University Hospital, where she served as chief resident.  She received her B.A. in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, and attended medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in NY, NY.  She has experience treating all ages, but has a special interest in late adolescence and young adult mental health.  During training, she spent four months at Tuttleman Counseling Services at Temple University, focusing on college mental health and psychotherapy.  She has also spent time during training at Merakey in Philadelphia and Horsham Clinic in Ambler, PA, working with both young children and adolescents.

Dr. Myles has a specific interest in psychotherapy.  She completed an additional three years of training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, and was the recipient of the Temple University Psychotherapy Award in 2019.  She is currently involved in research focused on women’s mental health and treatment preferences, and received the Charles Shagass, M.D. Award for scholarly achievement during residency training in 2020.

Dr. Myles was born and raised in NJ, and is excited to return to the state and join ARA.  She is happy to be able to spend the time with patients that they deserve, and to provide psychotherapy in addition to medication management.
